Linda Mann, in her post about this past weekend's show in Knoxville,
suggested listing the CMIS show for the Asheville/Western North
Carolina area. It is this coming Saturday, May 12th, 1:00 to 4:00
pm, at the First Congregational Church Educational Building, 1735
Fifth Avenue West in *HENDERSONVILLE*, NC. Hendersonville is located
on I-26 south-east of Asheville enroute to the Greenville/Spartanburg
area, SC. Travel times from G/S are about one hour, and about one-
and-a-half or slightly more from Charlotte, and about 2-1/2 hours
from Knoxville. Entries are grouped and judged by cultivar.
Entries of LA's, Siberians and Versicolors are usually much in
evidence, often equal in number to Bearded entries. Queen of Show in
2000 was a superlative Louisiana Iris entry.
