I wonder if anyone went to the Hendersonville Show today. My husband and I
went, got out of the car and were walking toward the door of the Church Hall
when we were met by a couple who asked if we had come to the Iris Show, and
we answered yes. They told us that we could not go in there at the time
because no one was allowed in while judging was going on. Then they told us
that the show was open to public from 1:00 to 4:00pm. We had driven 2 1/2
hrs to get there and were planning to go in to Ashville and on to
Waynesville, before returning home (near Charlotte). Unfortunately, my
husband wasnt willing to wait, and had we waited we would have missed out on
the other parts of our trip.I was so disappointed. Was really looking
forward to meeting some iris growing people, and seeing some iris. Maybe
next year. Wonder what irises won????????
