Re: HYB:germination surprise

I learnt a couple of years ago that the best way I got irises to germinate
was to stratify, then leave the bags containing the iris seed and sphagnum
moss on my desk.  Happened accidentally once and I got almost total
germination.

Tried it every time after that.  Reminds me that I must put those see in of
Iris atropurpurea that I've had lying around for a while.  Always wanted to
see it.

Haven't crossed in a couple of years now..... so I'm glad you reminded me.
