SHOW: Showing another's seedlings

I thought it interesting when I read Annette Milch's post regarding the 
seedling of Mark Cook's winning best seedling at her show.  

Is this usual?  To be able to enter another hybridizer's seedling?  I double 
checked our show rules and only the hybridizer can enter his/her own 
seedling.  I was wondering because I have seedlings (not my own) that I would 
love to have entered.
