OT-CHAT: Quick note fm C.Iris On Pond

Just a short note from CIOP. The bloom is booming this year
many new plants both Bearded & beardless are showing their
best colors. We had the garden open the last two Saturdays
with many guests. Every one enjoyed them selves, all stayed
longer then they intended. We adopted out over 50 potted
iris as a fund raiser for the local RED CROSS, people were
very generous.
Our photography is clicking along nicely. We are trying
out some new equipment, lots of fun. The web site is up
though not all classes are present, this will be rectified
after the bloom season. We are cranking up the quality &
ACCURACY another notch. Carol & I strive to
show Iris at their best in natural garden settings. All
blooms are photographed on the plant in the garden where it
resides. This same rule applies when working in other
gardens. NO STAGING OF CUT BLOOMS
& NO COLOR ENHANCEMENT. We do every thing possible to
achieve realistic
color which at times drives us nearly over the edge.

Currently an annoying problem has returned to the AIS web
site, the link to our site has once again been change to an
old out dated URL. I have requested a correction but for
now use one of these links: http://www.cirisonpond.com/ or
http://www.zyworld.com/ciop/Homepage.htm
To all the conventioneers enjoy, eat well & return home
refreshed.
We will not be able to attend, perhaps some time.
Enjoy the season Carol & Ken Coleman
