Thankfully, everything that hadn't fully opened came through OK. Things
looked kind of yucky for a day or two, but the night time temps went back
above the danger range almost immediately and now everything's pretty much
back to normal. It's been fairly windy, but most of mine are in a rather
sheltered location so I haven't had any trouble with tall stalks blowing
over. FWIW, I have the following now in bloom, or just finished:
Stage Door
Lightening Bug
Tribute To Tess
Stellar Lights (my favorite!)
Soft Jazz
Touch Up
Jedi Knight
Peach Spot
New Freedom
Beyond should open by the weekend, I think.
There's also a bright orange one I got from a neighbor and don't know the
name of and a couple different dark purple varieties that I've gotten mixed
up -- could be Holy Night, Spirit Raiser, By Night, or Titan's Glory.
I also have a determined crop of baby thistles trying to get started, so I'm
off on weed patrol!
Ciao....Nina
