It is possible to subscribe to Yahoo groups
<without> going thru their registration process,
thereby avoiding their cookies.

However, it's not possible to access their photo
files unless registered. Be nice if the messages
from the new erobins could be archived at hortnet
(along with photos, if they have any) like the
space age, species, photos, & this list. Wish the
LA group had theirs archived, but apparently they
don't want to.

<They [Yahoo] also
                    track subscribers through the
use of "cookies" that they place on your
                    computer>
