I'm sorry that I haven't answered your questions yet. For the last week I was 1. with my mom out of state at her sisters funeral and 2. the day after I got back I got slapped with a major cold and I've been down for 3 days straight. Only today am I sorta back up and trying to catch up on all of my housework and computer work. I hope that I can answer all of your questions before my energy level runs out.
The AISeRobins do consist of several different subjects to choose from and comment on. It's goals are the same of the AIS which is to promote iris. AIS membership is not a requirement to join the eRobins. I guess, that I am considered "the current owner" of the AISeRobins for now since I am the chair of the eRobins. When the time comes that someone else will take over my "job" then they will become "the owner" of the group. I for one had some reservations about yahoo when I first joined, but I have had absolutely no problems with yahoo at all. (They even have a better spam filter then most of the web services around). I chose yahoo groups to put the eRobins on because they are free. (The iris photos are on the yahoo groups also.)
