TB: overwhelmed

I have never seen so much bloom on clumps of iris here in the 35 yrs
I've been trying to grow them. Makes it really hard to concentrate on
making crosses!

Nothing particularly exciting in the seedlings, but nice blooms on EASY
LIVING and DIGNITY DANCER. Almost makes me like those heavily ruffled,
lacy divas. <g> Definitely worth waiting for.

Big clump of ALPENVIEW starting to bloom for the first time. Loaded
with buds.

DOCTOR ALAN is a <huge> healthy clump loaded with bloom.

Even YAQUINA BLUE has several stalks and pollen this year.

My pollen daubing goals have always been to develop cultivars that would
thrive here, make nice clumps, and be loaded with bloom. I guess I can
quit now <g> A good year to thin out seedlings.
