Mike,
I'm a bit late responding, but wanted to give my endorsement of DEVIL'S LAKE. I grow several blues that I like - BREAKERS, BLENHEIM ROYAL, DEVIL'S LAKE, SEA POWER, CAPTAIN'S JOY, and many more. I've only had DEVIL'S LAKE for a short while and have had it bloom the last two years. No other blue could match it for me this year. It is a wonderful iris.

I am wondering if anyone grows "Devils Lake" by Schreiners? This is supposed to be a deep navy blue, but I read on another site that a grower said it wasn't as blue as a picture she had posted of it.
I have Blueberry Bliss (Schreiner 2004); however, it did not bloom this year, so I haven't seen it.
Can anyone provide feedback on this variety or any other really deep blues which would be recommended?
Thanks,
Mike
