Honk Your Horn does not quite reach your 10 bud minimum here. Otherwise it
fits your bill pretty good having stately, well branched stalks with properly
placed buds. Horns were consistent on each bloom. Pleasing in every respect.
Exceeded 36" on a stalk you needed to chop. Paul Black says 8 to 12 buds. I yet
to catch him lyin'.
Deep, dark, rich blue progressing to a lighter blue toward the edge of the
falls. Large bloom. Has some haft marking below the claw and a bit past it. May
be what we have been calling an umbrata pattern that is blue on blue. I failed
to examine the underside of the falls. Nobody walks past this one.
