Another impressive blue SA here this year was SPOUTING HORN. From a distance
it was undistinguishable from HONK YOUR HORN.

It was a bit shorter than HYH and was not quite as impressive from a bud
count or branching standpoint. It produced more stalks. the haft marks were not as
evident if they existed at all. Bloom was impressive. Horn production was
consistent. It has less "noise" in the claw and around the beard area than HYH.

SH was produced from (Dusky Challenger x Last Emperor) x Honky Tonk Blues
HYH parentage is (Lookout Point x Honky Tonk Blues)

Lookout Point was (Frances Gaulter x Sky Hooks)
Last Emperor pedigree stuff was too murky for the lazy.

Smiles,
Bill Burleson
