This is possible as is the converse.

The one I have came second hand from a person who acquired it from Mid 
America.

I did view the photo in Cooley's catalog and saw no horns. I do not believe 
this precludes its ability to do so nor does the failure of the registration 
data to record such.

I also viewed Mid America's photo. While it did not show a defined horn it 
did show an extended shelf beyond the beard and what appeared to be a raised 
beard tip.

Your heads up concerning a suspicious ID is appreciated.
