HYB: ?Immortality/germination

Any of you have experience growing IMMORTALITY babies?

Any insights on what to do to improve germination rates?

Germination has been <very> low in most crosses I've tried with her,
especially compared with germination rates from some other types of
crosses. Lucky to get 4 or 5 seedlings most of the time.

Exception was the cross with CELEBRATION SONG. Nearly 50 surviving
seedlings from (I think) two pods.

I'm wondering if it has something to do with quality of life for the pod
parent, who isn't usually all that happy during bloom season here. If
so, I should have a bumper crop of seedlings from this year's pods. For
IMM, this year has produced rampant bloom, lush growth, big flowers,
tall stalks, & high bud count.

Other crosses I've tried so far (and number of seedlings), most to least
are:
CELEBRATION SONG (~50)
SUNNYSIDE DELIGHT (14),
LOVE TO FLIRT (13),
(DUSKY CHALLENGER X GRAPE ICE) (~8).
AZURE WHIR (6),
AMITY ESTATE (5),
(GOLDEN APPLE X CRYSTAL GLITTERS) (5),
STUNNING SERENADE (3),
WHO'S YOUR DADDY (3),
ABOVE THE CLOUDS (3 - this cross had more germination, but was amongst
the early ones I drowned this year),
VIOLET CLASSIC (2),
PINAFORE PINK (1),
ROMANTIC EVENING (1),

Some of these don't include second and most don't include third year
germination. IMM seeds do seem to germinate as many later as they do
the first year.

Anybody see a pattern there?

Germination of her children's seeds is good, among those I've tried, so
whatever her problem, it isn't passed on.
