Re: Do goats eat irises?
I know the feeling Tom. When we sold our last house, I had about 1/2 of what
you have & the people said they bought it for the landscaping. When I
stopped back up there to tell him about the plants (they were complete novices) &
what was where & what care it needed, he had plowed up the top two tiers of the
garden. I could have cried. I said, "If I had known you were going to plow
this up I would have taken starts of all the iris & moved the peonies out." He
said, "Well, it LOOKED LIKE A LOT OF WORK, so I thought I would till it up &
plant grass." You can never tell what a person will do & besides I thought
they paid a good price to be able to do that if they wanted to but still it was
11 years of my hard work that had paid off well for me!
