Hi Linda,
It's been a long time and my memory of crosses from
those days isn't the greatest. But I think it was only
one or two pods, since I never did large numbers of
one cross, back in those days. I do remember that it
was IMMORTALITY as the seed parent and SPARTAN as the
pollen parent, and that I was imagining / dreaming of
a red rebloomer when I did the cross.
As for other crosses with IMMORTALITY... no, I didn't
do any other crosses with it.
IMMORTALITY never grew or flowered that well for me.
For the short time that I had it, it would only bloom
once a year, but that was usually in the fall. Borers
seemed to really like it and since I'm not very good
about garden clean-up and I don't spray at all...
IMMORTALITY was just a little too "mortal" for my
growing conditions. ;0)
