John, I'm still jealous over your ability to grow AND bloom Louisa's Song.
It had two blooms on one very short stalk last spring, but I didn't notice
lace. However, I do see it on Lotus Land and a few others.
There came a time that lace was so prominent and tight that the blooms
couldn't open properly. Many gave up the pursuit. Ordinarily, crossing a laced
iris onto a not laced iris will not give lace.
There are not many rebloomers in zone 6 that have lace so crossing lace to
lace is rarely an option of mine. However, I'm doing pretty good on ruffles
these days!
