CULT: Borer Infestation

Anner - I would immediately spray the infected plants with the liquid form of Bayer Advanced Grub Control for the quickest results. Then I'd buy a bag of the same product (but granule-type) and sprinkle it through the iris beds like chicken feed. Normally I only need to use the granule type in early spring - when the forsythia bloom. It's systemic (when the borers chew, they perish) and lasts for 6 months and is not supposed to be poisonous to pets, etc.

You can get it at Lowe's for $17.99 when it's on sale - the best price I've seen (bag of granules - covers about 3,000 sq. feet). Here's their website: www.bayeradvanced.com.
