Linda, I've used 'Summer Radiance' in a lot of crosses and it has produced many rebloomers, mostly fall bloomers. The honey colored seedling that I posted last summer is from SR and it started rebloom in early July.

For years, I thought it was repeat only. Time has revealed that 'Summer Radiance' has also bloomed in the fall for many people.

I've not had any luck with other irises that appear to be repeat bloomers here.

Anybody using 'repeat' bloomers in breeding to know what, if anything,
they contribute to the quest for early fall/hot weather/'summer' rebloomers?

I have a pink seedling from DOCTOR ALAN X KIWI CHEESECAKE that has put
up at least one later stalk the past two springs. Earlier stalks seem
to be a little staggered as well.
