That's why I asked - was hoping some folks have used these 'repeat' rebloomers for crosses with various genetic rebloom types, might be able to shed some light.

One of the wallyworld mystery whites has sent up an enormously tall repeat stalk, not open yet. It was sold as LACY SNOWFLAKE, I think. It's been growing in the same bed for more than 20 yrs, very reliable, never dug and reset, other than by accident when weeding. Renovated the bed last year which undoubtedly gave it extra enthusiasm - fertilizer, no weeds, and thick layer of bark mulch. Heavy bloom this spring, all damaged by the late freeze, but not killed - closer to the house & trees.
