I don't call then antrocyanin less. I refer to them a dominant reduction of anthrocyanin (DRA) and recessive reduction of anthrocyanin RRA).

And yes. First pedigree analysis. A DRA should be obvious, one parent is DRA. For RRA, then a test cross is useful, if you are uncertain. Pull off a fall, and look closely art haft. Do same with a known glaciata. You will soon lean to see the difference. If no obvious plicata in inheritance, assume "not glaciata", until proven otherwise, ie: test cross.

So then what do we call these anthocyaninless flowers? Even recessive white flowers have some anthocyanin deep in the heart.

And then the only way to tell the difference of this type of white would be to do pedigree analysis and test crosses, correct?

Is it a true "glaciata", the kind that comes from plicata breeding? I
have some seedlings (one cream, one white) from Harvest of Memories X
Treasured that have no anthocyanin visible on them, but aren't
genetically glaciata (at least not the way I think that term is used,
at
least not the way Chuck uses it, I think).

Apparently more than one way to get rid of all the blues.
