So far, I have not had negative problems. I bought a small sprayer at ACE
and intend to spray the White Top that has invaded my garden. I do not
expect it to adversely affect subsequent cropping. I have never used
anything other than hand or hoe around growing veggies.

This last year an owl ate my whole flock of yard chickens (miniature size
Old English) that I had had for years. They had been charged with stirring
things up around yard plants. Then there was also a bumper crop of elm
leaves. I raked leaves onto some of the beds (many inches deep) not knowing
what to expect, especially from the iris. Turned out that everything was
very happy and plants bloomed that had not done so before. The mulch also
did wonders for weed control. Now I am waiting for another crop of leaves
:)

I'm glad to hear that vinegar works. I've been considering using it because
I have chemical sensitivities myself, but didn't want to use something that
was ineffective or seemed to cause issues to my wanted plants.

Does the vinegar seen to affect any flowers or vegetables if not sprayed
directly on the plants?
