SPEC: Iris cristata in bloom

Today, I noticed the first blooms in Iris cristata. I have this
species in two locations: One is in a mostly sunny location, the other is
in a mostly shady location. However, they both had their first blooms of
the year today. It looks as though this species passes the Kentucky Freeze
Test.
