I have a question that I know some of you hybridizers can answer. I
think you can register an iris with only one parent known. My question
is can you register one with neither parent known. Some may think this
is a stupid question and it is until you get you know why. Two years ago
I was drying some seeds in a divided contained, each marked. Well, I was
working out there one day and I accidentally hit the container. Do I
need to say more. One so far has bloomed and has promise but the parents
could be any of 40 or so that I crossed. So I want to know if I can
register it. Thanks for any info.
