Well, my TBs are on the downhill side of peak bloom (sniff) but I was
very excited to discover my very first ever bloom of I. Nelsonii (red)
in my pond and a bloom of what I think (actually what Gigi thinks
because I wouldn't have the foggiest) is I. Douglasiana that I collected
from the property of a friend in Jan (complete root ball). It was
interesting to see (thanks to Gigi for pointing it out) that the anthers
on the I Nelsonii actually extend above the style crest.
Anybody know if there is a picture on a website of I.D.?
Any way, that is my excitement for the day.
