The most dubious name I ever saw concerned the winner of the best
specimen in the Fort Worth Iris Society show many years ago. The stalk
voted best was the early blooming, creamy yellow Louisiana, ILA NUNN.
But the name tag bore ISLE OF NUNS, and, it was never corrected. For
years afterward, there were orders at FW sales for ISLE OF NUNS!
