It is the general practice to plant your iris in late summer and fall. 
This is when they are in a semi-dormant state and probably have the
flower buds set for next year.  Since you just planted your iris in
April I would have to urge patience.  They are probably trying to get
adjusted to their new location.  Keep them watered when they need it but
withhold fertilizer as they probably have enough.
