I get the names of FIESTA SONG, FALL FIESTA, and FIESTA TIME mixed up. The
one that has done so well here in spite of freezes is FIESTA SONG - not sure
which one I said in an earlier post. FALL FIESTA never bloomed and died.
Other survivors - MANUSCRIPT, WHERE THERE'S SMOKE (these two seem to insist
on cultivation and maximum sun), SOUTHLAND GRAPE. SULTRY MOOD and SONG OF
NORWAY are gorgeous. More to come.
BOOGIE WOOGIE and CELEBRATION SONG seem to have made it through without any
damage to the flowers this year (they didn't make it through last year's late
freeze), but the stalks are stunted. The flower on BOOGIE WOOGIE is
gorgeous. I am going to try these under high shade for a little frost
protection.

where it was 31o this morning, 32o yesterday, almost at peak bloom. The
cultivars that have made it this far don't seem to care. At least it's cold
enough that rot isn't bad yet.
