Hey Everyone!
Finally a TB! This morning 'Thick and Creamy' bloomed. It was
smaller than usual but I had moved it last year. Also blooming for the
first time were 'Batik" and 'Hissy Fit'. I was relieved to see that BATIK
had all its parts after the mail I've been getting on it...I've had it
for several years now and its always been outstanding.
Companion plants that are blooming are: Lunaria, basket of Gold
perennial candytuft, the last of the daffodils,'Sinopel'and some kind of
ground cover with a sivery stripe and tiny white flowers. Lots of other
stuff has buds.I'll keep you posted.
It looks like the first of the iris seedlings are about a week
away, that is such an exciting time for me. All my non gardening friends
think I'm truly insane at this time of year and most avoid me like the
plague...I try to tell them its not contagious, but ,of course, it is....
