AIS Convention----Dearborn

Before I leave the list for a time, I want to ask anyone who is going to the
AIS Convention in Dearborn to consider donating something of value to the AIS
Silent Auction we will have there.  Bring it with you.  A rare iris, an old
iris book, a handmade iris quilt (or any handmade quilt will do----dream on,
Alice), a beautiful iris painting or drawing, a rare plant of any
type---doesn't even have to be an iris, an plate with irises on it, an objet
d'art with irises, etc, etc.  The only limitation is that it should be
something that will generate some bidding.  The Silent Auction promises to be
lots of fun---and should be a good fund raiser for AIS.  Clarence Mahan in VA
