Amy Rupp requested clarification regarding whether or not a printer is
required for this software.
The software presently supports approximately 300 separate and individual
printers, including impact, laser, and inkjet printers. Presently, only
laser labels (Avery 5160 and 5161) can be printed from within the program.
A feature of this software is that it permits one to export list and label
data for use under other programs. This permits IRISARIANS who desire to
use graphicss based windows programs to print enhanced copy using different
fonts, sizes, and styles. Moreover, by exporting label data and
utililizing a windows bases labeling program (such as Avery-Dennison's
Lapel Pro) one can print a variety of product labels and cards, including
exhibit, rotary file, and index cards.
You really do not need a printer to realize the benefits of this software.
If you want to obtain printed hard copy you can output to a data file and
have a third party print the material for you.
