OT-Plants: PCNs & Other Natives

Several years ago Gail and I collected (probably inappropriately) some
"much redder than average" poppies from along a sierra foothills
roadway. I have been growing them ever since, and find them much more
interesting than the standard old yellow. I don't know if they are a
recognized variety or just a natural variation, but they keep coming
back and seem to be getting darker. Have you ever seem anything like
this? Maybe we should take this off list so mail me at
