Why don't they bloom!

I've had an iris garden for two years, and this is the second year and
still iris like Bold Accent, Twice Thrilling, On Edge, Emperor's
Delight, Land O Lakes, Victor Herbert, and Superstition have refused to
bloom BOTH YEARS!!!!AAAAGH!!!! (some blue iris bloomed last year, but I
couldn't tell what they were because they were malnourished or
something.) ANd-Last year, Chanteuse put up a bloom stalk, made a bud,
and opened ONE FALL. That's it. AND Catalyst bloomed last year, but
not this year. Is there something wrong other than the fact that we
have a mole whose goal in life is to dig up MY iris gardens? PS these
gardens are by the driveway, but so are most of the other iris, and they
seem to be doinmg fine. I planted 12 rhizomes in an approximately 3x4
garden. I don't expect them to bloom the first year, but the second
year (this year) they have healthy leaves and everything. What's going
on?
