I think the folks in California (which some consider paradise :-))
wrote about quality rhizomes blooming the first year. I am happy
if my rhizomes have not kicked the bucket after our long winters and
cold, wet springs. It is always a rush to see green growth around
any of my flowers.
I have buds on three MDBs and the only iris that I have concern about
is the Japanese, WHITE PARACHUTE....still brown. :-( Does anyone else
grow this plant? It is new for me this year...a pink phlox just
showed a tiny bit of growth yesterday....thought it was a goner.
