Fragrance!

Hello all!
I've very much enjoyed the favorite iris (TDF) topic, and look forward to
seeing the compiled list! However, one of the attributes that I think
really make a "lovely" iris "fabulous" is the fragrance! Although I've
read (with great excitement) about those favorites with fragrance, I'd LOVE
to hear of other cultivars (old and new) thatYOU find especially fragrant.
Could you describe the fragrance too? ( I know from experience that's a
hard thing to do unless you have the flower at hand!)
In my garden that flawless, flouncy beauty, without fragrance, might
initially draw me to her;
But, the bloom with perfume will hold me tight!!!
Our TB season is about to begin here in Western Illinois, probably next
Mon. or Tues., and I'm so eager! I may finally be able to contribute some
comment to the TDF thread!
