Not all of you know me, but, alot do. My two cents in regards to the
conventions is this.
My first one was the Portland. I could not believe the different
hybridizers that were there. I think I met just about every one of
them.
The friends that I were with know them all very well, and did not
hesitate to introduce me to them. Everyone was courteous and enjoyable.
I had only just recently joined the AIS but, you could not have known by
the way they treated me.
The other people who were just there were just as nice.
I will gladly forego any other vacation that would interfere with MY AIS
Convention. No matter where it is. For any of you who think you might
be looked down on for being "new & Unknowledgable". Forget it. These
irisarians will welcome you into their fold with arms so opened, you
won't be able to tell who's who.
Don't mean to prattle on, but, just want to thank any and all of you who
have made my last four years in this club so meaningful. I guess I just
can't help bragging on something so GGRREEAATT !!!
To all the Vets and their families out there - Have a PEACEFUL Memorial
Day !
Diana - where all is at peace in my world.
