PCI, PCN and, let me also throw in "Pacifica" as another descriptive
title for those species and hybrids that are indigenous to the West
Coast. These are all titles for the same plants. I would prefer to use
PCN (Pacific Coast Native) as this is what the Society for Pacific Coast
Native Irises calls them. What is this Society you ask? It is a
section of the American Iris Society devoted solely to these types of
