Sharon: If you order any iris from companies like Breck's or
Springhill, you are asking for trouble in this sense: they are
renowned for not selling iris by their proper, registered AIS names
but by a name they give it themselves, for whatever reason. Thus you
may buy what you think is named, shall we say Summer Skies, when the
proper name is Sailor's Dance. I know of more than one person who
has had this experience. So, you may get an assortment cheaply and
thus get a large start, but it's messed up from the outset. You can
do just as well with people who sell only iris, esp. with the smaller
sellers who offer assortments very reasonably.
