HYB: no pollen

From: Dennis Kramb <dkramb@tso.cin.ix.net>

Those of you on IRIS-PHOTO saw my jpegs of CAIRO LOVE SONG and JEWEL OF
OMAR which are both quarterbred arilbreds. This morning I checked for
pollen and found none on them. I realize this is to be expected (limited
fertility).

Instead I applied pollen on them from some SDBs. So maybe there's a chance
they'll set seed (keeping my fingers crossed).

I must have made nearly 100 crosses so far this spring, and only about 25%
of my irises have bloomed. So at this rate, assuming these crosses all
take, I'm going to have more seed than I know what to do with! That's
quite a change from last year. Hahahaha! (By the way, none of those 8
seeds have germinated yet.)
