Re: Bloom Report

From: "Donald Eaves" <donald@eastland.net>

Hello Folks,

I wasn't going to post any more of these, but our weather has cooled off
and now everything looks fresh and nice again. CONJURATION - looks
just like the pictures, tho mine is not quite in TB height range. I'm
wondering
if the horns will stay for all the blooms. They haven't yet on any other
of
the SAs. IDIDIT - for all that this one grows the best foliage and has
some
of the best increase, it is being stingy with bloom. Only one stalk and it
is not quite to the top of the leaves. Maybe I can use it for some erosion
control with all that growth which looks pretty good all year. Orange
brown
shoulders and edge on the dark lavender falls make it look a bit different
than anything else here. SILENT MAJESTY - a really pretty dark purple
with blue beards. I think Linda Mann might like this one. Not really an
old
form, but with some of that older shape to the blooms while still looking
modern. DESIGNING WOMAN - peachy orange beards? my descriptions
probably never match what's official, but these do give the medium lavender
color (not my favorite color) a nice contrast.

I'm still being surprised by some emerging bloomstalks. They probably are
not going to do well since it is likely to be too hot, but maybe I'll luck
out and
it won't be so hot. In any case, I'm willing for them to try.
