Re: OT: weather,Wichita/OKC

Dana,
There are still tornadoes forming but it has calmed a lot. I don't know
where the gardens are located but if they were in the path they probably
don't exist any longer. The death count is officially 12 but it has been
estimated to be more than 30.

Moore a suburb south of OKC is being totally evacuated at this time. There
are gas lines broken everywhere and power lines down.

At the present time I-35 in south OKC is closed with debris in places. I-40
east of OKC was also in the main path of the damage. Two tornadoes crossed
1-40 on the west side of OKC also. One crossed I-35 north of OKC and
another is headed that way now. If you are coming in tomorrow I would
guess there will not be a problem later in the day. Early tomorrow may be a
problem. The Turner Turnpike between Tulsa and OKC is closed at this time.
There have been several smaller towns hit in addition to the OKC metro area.
