Rocky Mtn Iris

Received a request today through our CIS website regarding a "rocky mountain
iris" whatever that may be... Please enlighten me on this and I will pass it

Cris, I have a junior high school aged daughter who is currently working
on a science project related to the iris. She is supposed to prepare a
report on the Rocky Mountain Iris which includes diagrams and an
explanation of the reproductive cycle of the iris. My wife and I have
scoured the net and haven't been able to come up with a thing. We
finally wound up at the CIS site, but were unsuccessful here as well.
Can you help??
