Sorry about that partial response, Leslie. Kitten on the keys, only it is my
rather large ginger tom, Barbarossa.
You are correct about the registered description. White with a red-tangerine
beard.
We certainly are hearing about a lot of misnamed irises this year. What a
mess. We at HIPS have been concerned about this for some time but there is
not much to be said for all these bone-wrong irises being sent out except to
suggest that people contact the relevant sources and insist on their making
it right.
