TB: JOLIE

From: Barb Johnson <bdjohnson@atlascomm.net>

Hi guys. Does anyone grow Schreiners '67 plicata JOLIE? It and JESSE'S
SONG bloomed here for the first time Thursday and I can't tell them
apart! Surely the '67 should be somewhat *older-looking* ? I got it
from the local sale in 1997, so it could be a mistake, but I trust the
person who brought it in.

I'm having fun comparing plicatas. ROCOCO is bluer, BLUE SHIMMER has
narrower falls, etc. I also have some pinkish plicatas. PATRICE has
bloomed a couple of years running. BURGUNDY BROWN is also blooming.
Hope to send a *real* bloom report soon, or several! Have some wonderful
seedlings of Adam Mueller's blooming! Wow!
Thanks -- B.
