Denise,
The object you referred to appeared in the sky for the first time
in two weeks on Friday, and local astronomers were able to confirm its
identity as the neighborhood star. Yesterday Oregon weather arrived in
Utah, coinciding with the opening of the first SDB bloom of the season here
- a weather damaged blossom of RASPBERRY JAM on a derisory stalk.
This morning the cognoscenti were summoned again, and after much ponderous
wrinkling of brow, scratching of chin, and nodding of head, allowed that
the white substance covering the ground did bear an amazing resemblance to
snow. A particularly learned sage even referred to a precedent established
at the AIS Convention last year as he surveyed the white mantle on the
aforementioned RASPBERRY JAM blossom. <COL>
