Evening and HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY,
I am so excited, I am bursting!!! I happened to have a family dinner in
Wichita, KS this week. As with most Family events, I had some free time
and decided to take the Suchy Family up on their offer of a tour of their
garden. BOY!!!! Was I ever surprised!!!
After some small talk I noticed a bed of Iris from the driveway. I
thought this is nice, without being rude, I said thank you for your
time....with a surprised look on their face, they said do you want to go
in back??
I of course agreed, and we proceeded to the back........Whew!!! Iris
after Iris after Iris....
Just a field of the MOST BEAUTIFUL COLOR I have ever seen in my life!!
Tall Bearded, Intermediate, and few Standard and Dwarf that had finished
blooming. I was so overwhelmed that I felt my heart in my throat. I
found out that Mrs. Suchy had collected since 1968 and had some of the
newest as well as some of the classics around!!
If anyone has a few hours to spare I highly recommend the trip.....YOU
WILL NOT BELIEVE YOUR EYES!!!
If I die today, I can go peacefully, because I have seen Heaven, or at
least I hope it can compare!!!
