OT- EQUIP.:Planet Junior

From: "Leroy Kriese" <ambrosia@silk.net>

Hello,

Does anyone know if a garden equipment manufacturer exists by the Planet
Junior name in the US anymore. I have a old wheel-hoe-cultivar that I just
love and was curious if that company might still be in business. The walk
behind self-propelled cultivator is missing the center hoe.

It is the greatest thing on our sandy loam soil for cultivating weed
seedlings to medium sized weeds between the rows. Very fast, (as long as you
build up some steam) and does an excellent job, highly manouverable and
light, and environmentally friendly to boot! Amazingly simple, it is older
than I am (you can make a guess at that) it needs virtually no maintenance,
it will probably outlast me and will be in use till I can no longer push it.

I have seen other brands that are similiar or more fancy, would be
interesting to hear if there are any other similiar equipment out there and
your comments, name brands, etc.
