The only times I've heard the term "Cracker Roses"---which sounds like
something which could offend someone---is in relation to the Tea Rose
"Louis-Phillipe." This is a nice red. Tea Roses--which are not the same as
Hybrid Teas-- are very fine roses for the deep south, unlike Gallicas, which
really prefer northern climes. If you like Tea roses, I'd recommend adding
"Monsieur Tillier" and "Rosette Delizy" to your collection. Both are reliably
hardy through zone 7.
