Wow - one of my 'Mart irises opened today - sez it's DOVER BEACH, but
it's the rare form of DOVER BEACH (only sold thru outlet stores) that
has yellow standards and blue falls. I'd suspect it was infected with
the EDITH WOLFORD virus, but my garden is toxic to that particular
strain of contaminant. The flowers may have been affected by genetic
drift by being packaged for multiple generations and may now actually
have mutated into the same genetic makeup as EARTH SONG.
