I for one am in favor of any medium that will promote and further
knowledge of Iris! I agree with MR. Dyer that the Daylily Society has
used this medium much better than we have. I often purchase Daylilies
through my PC, and have made much better choices. Quick response time is
wonderful too, mail does not work when you are trying to get orders ready
and have to wait until you receive them to find out which ones are not
available.
I would love to see many more Iris offered on my computer through IMAGES,
GARDENS and GIFTS.
If you are in doubt, try any search for IRIS or DAYLILIES, and you will
see which is moving toward the new
century?
By the way My Iris are about in 75% in bloom and there are some really
gorgeous additions. The recent rains have really increased the bloom size
and the stalk height....probably not good with the wind we receive in
KANSAS?
Some that really impressed me are: MISS PIGGY, OMINOUS STRANGER, SELECT
CIRCLE, KIDS CLOTHES,
ENGLISH CHARM, CHARMED, OLD BLACK MAGIC, JAMMIE PRINTS and OKLAHOMA
CRUDE!!!
Enjoy what little bloom time we have left and from the prairies of
KANSAS....
